Energy Transition

Analysis of the energy transition towards a Net Zero (CO2 zero) economy. Various alternative fuels to oil and coal are being evaluated, including hydrogen, methanol, biofuels, and ammonia. Each fuel has different characteristics and advantages, but also different obstacles, including safety risks that must be overcome before their widespread adoption.

The role of natural gas and/or LNG as a less polluting transitional fossil fuel plays an important role in this transition context.
