Mechanical Integrity
Our company has developed a metal-mechanical infrastructure integrity management area, due to its current importance for the protection of the operator, its assets, people, and the environment.
We have a great deal of experience in generating policies, procedures, and work processes related to Mechanical Integrity and Inspection, as well as defining and reporting Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and metrics. We have performed program assessments and gap analyses of existing Mechanical Integrity programs and recommended and implemented improvements where identified.
Our team has implemented and maintained Mechanical Integrity/Inspection programs for upstream, midstream, and downstream facilities.
Managing integrity (MI) through a system, AIMS (Asset Integrity Management System), guarantees the fulfillment or purpose of the assets, and optimizes their useful life.
Our services aim to minimize the EHSQ risk (people + stakeholders + environment + quality), in addition to optimizing inspections, maintenance tasks, and the useful life of assets.
For each project, we develop the following scope:
- We implement and develop Mechanical Integrity and reliability management plans to prolong the useful life of assets. Including among others:
- Nondestructive essays.
- Failure evaluation.
- FFS studies.
- ECDA Assessments – ICDA.
- Development and implementation of an AIMS.
- IMP (Integrity Management Program).
- Training and qualification program.
- Registration procedures.
- Response plans.
- Assess the risk and variation in the level of risk by segment.
- Sample-taking procedure.
- Specification and acquisition of support software
- Gap and deficiency analysis
- Diagnosis of transport systems
- Determination of the state of pipelines
- Private studies regarding the IMP
- Identify potential impact at critical locations:
- High Consequence Area (HCA)
- Unusually Sensitive Areas (USAs)
- Assess risk and classify segments.
- Carry out pipeline inspections, tests, and examinations.
- MOC (Management of Change) review.
- Evaluate the performance of the integrity program.
- Assess the integrity of the pipeline.
- Performance Pipeline Remediation Activities
- Preventive performance and mitigating activities
- Calculate pipeline reassessment intervals.
- Undertake actions to improve the integrity program.
- Analysis of internal inspection runs (ILI)
- Operation and Maintenance Manual
